Fishy weekend

I love salmon in any way - raw or cooked, salted or smoked, in soup, in salad.. you name it! Since I have to eat soups quite oftenly according to my eating plan, I was looking for simple and delicious salmon soup recipe and found it. The honor goes to estonian Marju who is author of blog "Tassike elu topelt koorega". Her salmon soup recipe is simple and I bet it will also be your favorite. Also go check out her food photos - absolutely fabulous! :)

To get the best fish in Ljubljana, I must set my feet to fish market. It is located in center of city, old town, just by the river. It is 9 o'clock and the streets are already crowded with people. But we manage to get to market and there we are, in line waiting for our turn. Girls were eating ice cream there and you can imagine how a fish market smells. Usually they start to complain, but I quess the ice cream saved the day.

Oi, see viimane saab eriti põnev olema! :D Nagu ikka mustas linn turistidest ning mul õnnestus purki püüda mõned ilusad pildid. See nädalavahetus vedas meil ilmaga ning üle pika aja polnud tüütut vihma. :)

Later in the evening we went back to central again to meet Aleksander who we haven't seen for too long. Let me introduce - Aleksander is Igor's cousin and he is our close friend and family member. He is also the person who will teach Anne Mai piano and me singing - not that will be interesting! As before, the city was full of people, but I managed to take some frames. This weekend we were lucky with weather and not a single rain drop touched the ground. :)
